UTB is committed to addressing climate change and fostering a sustainable innovation ecosystem. The university continues to raise public awareness on climate change through educational outreach initiatives such as the “Raising Awareness on Climate Change” webinar, organised in collaboration with the Brunei Climate Change Secretariat (BCCS). These efforts aim to strengthen community understanding and inspire collective action towards climate resilience.

Through initiatives like the Robotic Coding Conquest, international collaborations, and participation in global platforms such as the 13th Commonwealth Youth Forum, UTB empowers its community to design innovative solutions that address climate challenges. Partnerships with industry leaders, including Heidelberg Materials Butra Sdn. Bhd., and achievements in competitions such as the Huawei ICT Competition further demonstrate UTB’s dedication to advancing climate-conscious research, innovation, and collaboration.
