Planning and Development Office (PDO) is given the responsibility of leading and managing Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) Ranking and Rating Project. This initiative aimed to benchmark UTB’s performance against top universities globally, setting UTB on a path to strengthen its academic standing, reputation, and impact on the international stage.

The project involved a comprehensive strategy focused on enhancing UTB’s research output, fostering impactful international collaborations, building faculty expertise, and improving student employability, while also advancing the quality of teaching, research, and infrastructure to meet the rigorous standards of both the Quacquerelli Symonds (QS) and Times Higher Education (THE) rankings.
