A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) championed by the School of Design and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). The ceremony was held virtually via Zoom.
The event commenced with welcoming remark by Yang Berusaha Dr Atta Idrawani bin Zaini, the Dean of Faculty of Built Environment, UNIMAS. This was followed by speech from Yang Berbahagia Professor Dr Ahmad Hata bin Rasit, Vice-Chancellor of UNIMAS and Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB.
The ceremony proceeded with the virtual signing of the MoU. Signing on behalf of UTB was the Vice-Chancellor of UTB, while UNIMAS was represented by its Vice-Chancellor
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration in areas including student and academic exchanges, joint research initiatives, and the organisation of international seminars and conferences, as well as other mutually agreed academic activities.
