> UTB Welcomes Delegation from U.S Embassy

1 May 2025 – Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) welcomed a delegation from United States (U.S) Embassy visit to discuss potential future partnerships and collaboration.

The delegation from United States (U.S) Embassy in Brunei Darussalam were Katherine Ntiamoah, Public Affairs Officer; Hannah Doyle, Public Diplomacy; and Mayra Robles, Emerging Voices. The visit aimed to foster a relationship between the two institutions and explore opportunities for student exchange, joint academic programmes.

UTB was represented by Dr. Mohamad Saiful bin Haji Osman, Acting Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Dr Mohamed Hasnain Isa, Assistant Vice-Chancellor; Dr Au Thien Wan, Assistant Vice-Chancellor; Dr. Ravi Kumar Patchmutu, Deputy Dean School of Computing and Informatics; Pengiran Muhammad Nazri bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad Head of AIML Laboratory; Dr. Tan Soon Jiann, Dean, Faculty of Engineering; Dr Ismawi bin Haji Md. Yusof, Director of the Industry Liaison Office; Serina binti Mohd Ali, Director of Corporate Communications; Dr. Syazana Abdullah Lim, member of Women Leadership Forum; Dr. Wendy Pei Qin Ng, Director of the UTB Global Office; and Dr Ahmad M.S elaklouk, Programe Leader Creative Computing

During the meeting, both institutions discussed ways to strengthen ties in education. They explored opportunities for academic partnerships and collaborations, highlighting the potential for working together to enhance learning experiences and global connections.
