Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) has emerged as the overall champion of the Chancellor’s Trophy 2024, bagging an impressive 17 gold, 14 silver, and 11 bronze medals across various events.
The highly anticipated competition, organised by Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD) concluded this afternoon with a closing ceremony held at the Pro Chancellor Centre building, UBD.
Present as the Guest of Honour was Yang Berhormat Datin Seri Setia Dr Hajah Romaizah binti Hj Md Salleh, Minister of Education.
Also in attendance was Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, along with UTB Principal Officers, staff, and students.
This year’s Chancellor’s Trophy witnessed spirited competition among local higher education institutions, with UTB taking the lead crowned as the champion, followed by UBD in second place, Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) in third, and Kolej Universiti Perguruan Ugama Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) in fourth.
Fueled by unwavering determination and soaring sportsmanship, UTB students rose to the challenge and demonstrated exceptional teamwork and resilience throughout the competition.
