Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) received about 50 Waqaf (endowment) Mushaf from Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) this morning at the Visitor’s Room of the University.
Muhammad Faishal An-Nawawi bin Haji Saban, the Assistant Director, as the Head of the Waqaf Mushafdistribution program UNISSA, presented the Waqaf Mushaf to Yang Mulia Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, the Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Also present at the event were Dr Mohamad Saiful bin Haji Omar, the Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Industry and Services), and Awang Hamdani bin Haji Ibrahim, the Bursar of UTB.
The objective of this Waqaf is to give opportunity and ease for the public who wishes to donate Mushaf in the country and abroad. It is also intended for making UNISSA the central platform for managing Waqaf Mushaf.
