Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) presented a pesambah to His Royal Highness Prince (Dr.) Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah Ibni Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Paduka Seri Baginda Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah, the Crown Prince and Senior Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office, Pro-Chancellor of UTB in conjunction of his 48th Birthday celebration at the Prime Minister’s Office, Jalan Menteri Besar.
The pesambah was presented by Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, UTB Vice-Chancellor along with Dr. Hajah Ena Kartina binti Haji Abdul Rahman, Assistance Vice-Chancellor (Academic) and Dk. Siti Ariana binti Pg Haji Yusof, Assistant Registrar.
The presented UTB pesambah 2022 was a 3D illustration of Betta Macrostoma also known as the Brunei Beauty. It is one of the rarest fish species that can only be found in the Northern part of Sarawak and Labi Forestry Area in the Sultanate. It was proudly designed and illustrated by a group of UTB students collaboratively under the programme areas of Architecture; Product Design; and Fashion Design and Technology under the School of Design, UTB.
