Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) participated at the Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (MYCE) 2022. Brunei MYCE 2022 is organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism (MPRT) through Brunei Tourism Board together with government agencies; statutory bodies; stakeholders; and private agencies.
Brunei MYCE 2022 is back for the second year with experts and business leaders from Brunei Darussalam and all over the world who will be addressing various concerns pertaining to the five fields: Islamic, Digital Technology, Energy, Climate Change and Economy.
With a focus on the theme “Inclusive, Resilient and Sustainable Economic Growth – Brunei Darussalam Perspective”, this 5-week event will feature thematic exhibitions, conferences and over 100 speakers to promote knowledge sharing and business activities in various sectors.
UTB will be participating during the Digital Technology, Energy, Climate Change and Economy Week.
During the Digital Technology (DigiTech) Week, UTB will be involved in the Showcase and Exhibition at the Plenary Hall, ICC. The event will take place from 8 until 11 June 2022. UTB will be showcasing the CIPTA 2023 Competition; UTB Postgraduate Micro-credentials; Digital Programmes offered by the University as well as job opportunities relating to Digital and Technology. Also, during the DigiTech Week, UTB co-organised the Robotic and Coding Conquest 2022 with Amazon Web Services (AWS). CIPTA 2023 Roadshow was also held at the Main Conference Hall, ICC on the 11 June 2022 in conjunction of the DigiTech Week.
MYCE Career Path Fair 2022 was organised during the Energy Week where UTB participated as part of the exhibition and showcase at the Main Conference Hall, ICC. The recruitment event will take place from 15 until 18 June 2022. The event is open to the general public.
During the Climate Change Week, UTB will be showcasing projects relating to the theme of that week from 22 until 26 June 2022 at the Central Concourse, ICC.
UTB will also take part and host the one-day Borneo International Conference on Agrotechnology (BICAT) 2022 during the Economy Week. The conference will take place on 2 July 2022, at the Main Conference Hall of ICC. The BICAT 2022 establishes a forum for the exchange of agricultural technological breakthroughs, where experts will exchange and share their experiences in recent and future developments of agricultural technology.
