In conjunction with the 37th National Day celebration of Brunei Darussalam, a flag-hoisting ceremony was held at the Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) campus.
The Guest of Honour at the event was Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB. Also in attendance were UTB principal officers, lecturers, staff and students of the university.
The ceremony commenced with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat, followed by a flag-bearing by the UTB Army Cadet members. The National Flag was handed over by the Guest of Honour to the Flag-Hoisting Lead, Yang Mulia 92183 KPL KT Siti Noraziemah binti Mohd Khairuddin.
The flag was then hoisted ceremoniously by members of the UTB Army Cadet, accompanied by the singing of the national anthem by all present at the ceremony.
