Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Hadhramout University (HU) marked a significant milestone in their academic partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today at UTB's Main Conference Room.
The delegates from Hadhramout University, led by Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Mohammad Seed Khanbash, President of HU, were warmly welcomed by Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, along with UTB’s senior officials.
The ceremony commenced with a welcoming remark by UTB’s Vice-Chancellor, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah, emphasising the importance of international academic collaboration, followed by remarks from Hadhramout University’s President, Yang Mulia Professor Dr. Mohammad Seed Khanbash. The president shared HU's vision for the partnership.
Both institutions presented their corporate videos and comprehensive introductions, highlighting each university’s respective achievements and strategic objectives. The presentations were followed by an engaging discussion on potential areas of collaboration between the two universities.
The highlight of the ceremony was the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding, which establishes a framework for academic cooperation, including student and faculty exchanges, joint research initiatives, and collaborative academic programmes.
This collaboration marks another significant step in UTB's ongoing efforts to strengthen its international academic network and enhance educational opportunities for its community.
