As part of UTB commitment to foster research activities and excellence amongst faculty staff members, two academics, Dr Syazana Abdullah Lim and Dr Aida Maryam Basri from Food Science and Technology, School of Applied Sciences and Mathematics, are undergoing their research activities at Osaka University, Osaka, Japan for two weeks starting from 1st July 2024. The outcomes of these activities will advance their knowledge and expertise within their respective fields as UTB remains committed to supporting faculty members in their pursuit of pioneering research.

Earlier today, Dr Syazana and Dr Aida also held a discussion on enhancing research activities between UTB and Osaka University under the ASEAN-Osaka Brunei Campus. Present during the discussion was Professor Quamrul Hasan and Professor Sumimura Yoshinori from Center for Global Initiatives and Professor Masayoshi Arai from Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences.
