Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) celebrated the achievement of Awang Muhammad Zaiddin bin Abdul Qayyum Sirul @ Zaiddin bin Sirul, Office Assistant, who received the Anugerah Pekerja Cemerlang Perkhidmatan Awam (APCPA) 2026 in recognition of his outstanding service, professionalism and dedication to public service.
The award was presented by His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, during the 33rd Public Service Day Celebration 2026, held under the theme “Menjulang Kepimpinan dan Kedaulatan Raja: Pencetus Perkhidmatan Awam Yang Transformatif”.
The APCPA is a prestigious national recognition that honours public officers who demonstrate exemplary performance, integrity, initiative and dedication beyond the scope of their official duties. The award also recognises individuals whose contributions support organisational effectiveness and the continued development of public service excellence.
Awang Muhammad Zaiddin’s achievement reflected the importance of dedication and professionalism across all levels of the public service, recognising the valuable role that support personnel play in ensuring effective university operations and service delivery.
UTB congratulated Awang Muhammad Zaiddin on this well-deserved national recognition and acknowledged his valuable contributions to the University and the nation.
