26 April 2025 – The Program Eksplorasi Kemahiran dan Budaya (X-KEB) 2025 saw a delegation from the Polytechnic Education Department (PolyCC) Sabah visiting Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB). This initiative aimed to strengthen international relations and enrich student leadership skills.
The visit focused on enhancing leadership competencies among the Student Council Committee of the PolyCC Zone Sabah, offering participants valuable international exposure and networking opportunities. It also aimed to deepen cultural understanding between the two institutions.
The programme was divided into two parallel sessions:
• Officers’ Session: Led by the Student Affairs Unit, this session featured a knowledge and skill exchange at the Conference Room, Level 3 of the Library Complex.
• Students’ Session: Visiting students engaged in a vibrant exchange of ideas and experiences with members of the UTB Student Representative Council (MPPUTB 25/26) at Lecture Theatre 2 (LT2) of the Library Complex
.
After the sessions, participants enjoyed a campus tour, which included insightful visits to the School of Design and the AiML (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) Laboratory. Pengiran Muhammad Nazri bin Pengiran Haji Ahmad, Head of AIML Laboratory, provided a briefing on the activities and research conducted at the laboratory.
The visit concluded with a certificate presentation ceremony at the Library Complex, marking a successful and memorable day of learning, sharing, and connection.
