Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) was honoured to host a delegation from Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB) University, led by the esteemed Professor Heri Suseno, Director of Research and Innovation. The team also included Dr Eng. Obie Farobie, Assistant Director of Basic and Applied Research, and Dr Karlisa Priandana, Assistant Director of Research Strategy.
The UTB reception committee included Yang Mulia Professor Dr Mohamed Hasnain Isa, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation); Yang Mulia Dr Wida Susanty Hj Suhaili, Director of the Centre for Transport Research (CfTR); and Yang Mulia Dr Heru Susanto, Director of the Centre for Innovative Engineering.
The purpose of this visit was to identify and cultivate potential collaborative opportunities between UTB and IPB University, with a specific focus on agricultural research and development, food security, and environmental sustainability. The meeting concluded with both institutions reaffirming their commitment to ongoing dialogue and developing joint projects. These initiatives are anticipated to be in line with the strategic objectives of both universities and make significant contributions to the academic and research landscapes of their respective countries.
