A hybrid workshop on Drones and Robotics were held as part of the Authority of the Info-communications (AITI) Brunei Darussalam DigiBiz initiative.
Dr Lim Tiong Hoo, Senior Assistant Professor from Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Awang Khairuddin bin Haji Abdul Ghafaar, Lecturer and the Enterprise Office Coordinator of UTB, was invited to conduct the workshop at the University.
The workshop focused on the understanding of basic programming in Drones and Robotics and consists of demonstration on various ways in assembling simple, yet functional robots, as well as explanations on how sensors work to control robots.
There were 20 participants who took part at the workshop which was also open to unlimited online attendees via Zoom. The target audience of this session were the local ICT and non-ICT entrepreneurs, as well as companies looking to move to a more data-centric, data-driven business, operating to diversify their firms and generate more revenue through data analytic application.
