29 May 2025 – The Judges Appreciation Dinner for the Crown Prince CIPTA Award 2025 was held on Thursday, 29 May 2025, at the Mutiara Ballroom, The Radisson Hotel in Brunei Darussalam. The dinner recognised the prominant role of judges and contributors in making the CIPTA 2025 competition a success.
The Guest of Honour, Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, was warmly welcomed. Guests included committee members, Principal Officers from Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), and other invited guests.
The event started with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah and Doa Selamat by Yang Mulia Muhammad Lutfi Hadi bin Haji Asmat, ECA Officer at UTB. Subsequently, Yang Mulia Pengiran Dr Rafidah binti Pengiran Haji Petra, Head of the Technical Committee for CIPTA 2025, gave the welcoming speech, thanking the judges and supporters for their valuable contributions.
The Guest of Honour, joined by Yang Mulia Dr Ismawi, Acting Chairperson of CIPTA, then presented certificates and souvenirs to the judges and invited guests. Those recognised were experts from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Universiti Teknikal Malaysia,Universitas Brawjaya Indonesia, Seabrdge Thailand, Brunei LNG, Universiti Teknologi Brunei, Offshore Marine Centre, BIBD, Minisrtry of Health, Ministry of Education, AITI, Methanol Company Sdn Bhd, Shell LiveWire and BEDB.
The event closed with a thank you to all attendees and organisers, followed by a dinner to celebrate the evening together.
