UTB participated in the Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net) Student Leader Forum 2022 organised by Asia Technological University Network (ATU-Net), hosted by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) and UTM Toastmasters Club, in collaboration with UTM Career Centre, UTM Student Affairs along with Institut Dato’Onn. The forum was held virtually via Zoom and Facebook live.
The forum comprised of two sessions. The first session was the keynote session by the Global Youth Leaders. Whereas the second session was the panel discussion with student leaders and toastmasters international.
One of the panel speakers representing the university and Brunei Darussalam was Yang Mulia Dayang Ummi Salmah binti Haji Muhammad Firdaus, President of Student Representative Council UTB 2022/2023.
ATU-Net Student Leader Forum is an annual programme and this year’s theme is ‘Embracing Change and Transformation: Breakthrough Leadership and Communication’. The program was specially designed to bring together youth and student leaders from ATU-Net member institutions and beyond to share knowledge and learn from one another, strengthen regional bonds, and form a shared global identity.
