The Brunei Mid-Year Conference and Exhibition (MYCE) 2022 press conference organised by the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism was held today at Setia Pahlawan Hall of the Ministry of Primary Resources and Tourism. The event was held to share information on the Brunei MYCE 2022 events which will take place on 1 June 2022 to 2 July 2022.
The theme for this year's MYCE is 'Inclusive, Resilient and Sustainable Economic Growth - Brunei Darussalam Perspective' focusing on five (5) main clusters which include Islamic, Digital Technology, Energy, Climate Change and Economy.
Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, the Vice-Chancellor of UTB attended the press conference and shared information on the upcoming events that UTB will be participating under the Digital Technology and Economy clusters.
Under the Digital Cluster, UTB will be organising the Technology Workshop 4IR - Robotic and Coding Conquest 2022 and Roadshow of the CIPTA 2023 Award Competition on 8 June 2022 to 11 June 2022 and 11 June 2022 respectively. Both events will be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC), Berakas.
Under the Economy Cluster, UTB will be organising the Borneo International Conference on Agrotechnology (BICAT 2022) which will be held on 2 July 2022 at the Press Conference Hall, ICC, Berakas.
The objective of the Brunei MYCE 2022 activities are to promote knowledge sharing, brainstorming, sharing of new discoveries in various fields and increasing networking and business activities among experts and entrepreneurs from within and outside the country, which is hoped to contribute significantly to economic growth.
