Further to the establishment of Artificial Intelligence (AI) Machinery Lab, Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) and Shell Deepwater Borneo B.V. continues its collaboration through a Sponsorship Agreement aimed to supporting research and development, education and the application of knowledge to enhance the technological capabilities of Brunei Darussalam.
The sponsorship agreement was signed, on behalf of UTB by Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr. Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Haji Sulaiman, Vice-Chancellor of UTB, and witnessed by Yang Mulia Dr. Mohamad Saiful bin Haji Omar, Assistant Vice-Chancellor (External and Industry Relations). Representing Shell Deepwater Borneo, the agreement was signed by Yang Mulia Mr Dougal Grant, Managing Director of Shell Deepwater Borneo, and witnessed by Yang Mulia Pg Abd Aziz bin Pg Hj Ali Hassen, Commercial Advisor of Shell Deepwater.
This collaboration underscores the commitment of both UTB and Shell Deepwater Borneo B.V. to advancing technological innovation and strengthening industry-academic partnerships. The AI Machinery Lab will serve as a vital resource for research and development, providing students and professionals with access to advanced AI tools and expertise.
