FULL PAYMENT OF RENTING AND PURCHASING OF ACADEMIC ROBE: Please be informed that the payment of the academic robe for Convocation 2024 is now open. Please take note of the following steps to make the full payment for the academic robe:
- Download the Academic Robe Payment Collection and Return Form from the website and fill in the information requested (printing of the form at the Finance Section, Bursar’s Office will be charged BND0.20 cents per paper).
- Full Payment of robe (Rent/Purchase and purchase of Tudong [For Female Graduates]) could be made via BIBD online transfer, or Cash Deposit Machines (CDM), or over BIBD counter, from 22nd August 2024 until 31st August 2024. Please refer to the bill payment guide.
- Screenshot and submit your proof of payment by completing the form at https://tinyurl.com/utbrobepayment2024
- Official Receipt can be collected at the Finance Section, Bursar’s Office during the collection date stated below.
- Bring the filled Form and the Official Receipt issued by the Finance Section, Bursar’s Office to the Room GA.24 for collection process.
- Please be seated outside the room and wait to be called for collection
- Then, submit your Form to the staff in-charge of the robe collection counter.
Collection of the academic robe are to be made at the following dates and time:
**Please ensure that you have made the full payment for the rental or purchase of gowns, as well as the purchase of tudongs (for female graduates), within the specified dates and times. Those who miss these deadlines will not be accommodated.
RENTAL CHARGES FOR ACADEMIC ROBE:
The following charges are for a full set of academic robe:
FEMALE GRADUATES are advice to purchase the grey tudung provided by Universiti Teknologi Brunei with a pricing of BND$10.00 (for new stock) or BND $5.00 (for instock) as stated in your Robe Deposit Form.
The full payment for Rental of the academic robe should be made prior collection of the robe.
PURCHASING OF ROBE:
Purchase robe would be based on standard sizes (i.e. size S, M, L, XL and XXL) as stated below:
The remaining payment for Purchase of the academic robe set should be made prior collection of the robe.

RETURN OF ACADEMIC ROBE:
All rented academic robes are expected to be returned no later than ONE WEEK AFTER the Convocation Ceremony. After this, a charge of B$10.00 per week will be imposed. If returned after 30th SEPTEMBER 2024, the gown is CONSIDERED SOLD AND FULL PAYMENT OF PURCHASING the gown must be settled.
REMINDER: CANCELLATION OF RENTING/PURCHASE IS NOT ALLOWED. Hence, the deposit is non-refundable and graduates are held responsible to pay the remaining amount of the robe purchased. Graduates are responsible for the care of the academic robes against any damage, stained or loss arising from negligence. Academic robes are considered sold at full price for any damage, stained or loss caused by graduates.
