5 August 2024 - Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) recently organised a focused dialogue session for its non-academic staff. The event was held in Lecture Theatre 2 on the university campus.
Yang Mulia Datin Paduka Professor Dr Dayang Hajah Zohrah binti Hj Sulaiman, the Vice-Chancellor of UTB, opened the session with a welcoming address. During her presentation, she covered several key topics of interest to the staff. These included UTB's current rankings, the establishment of new offices within the university structure, and an overview of the institution's strategic plan.
A significant announcement made during the session was the upcoming launch of a new academic programme, DBA from UTB School of Business, scheduled for the following year.
The dialogue concluded with an interactive question-and-answer segment, providing an opportunity for the non-academic staff to engage directly with the university leadership and seek clarification on the points discussed.
This event underscores UTB's commitment to maintaining open communication channels with all members of its university community, including the vital non-academic staff who play crucial roles in the institution's operations and success.
