BSc (Hons) in Computer Networking is a three years programme which will focus on Computer networking apart from studying basic computing modules. This programme consists of six semesters, where the last semester includes Capstone Project (formerly known as Final Year Project) and Industrial Attachment for students to gain hands-on industry experience.

Upon completing this programme, students will be able to find jobs in the following areas:

Programme Features

  • Guest Lectures from industry leaders will be arranged now and then to introduce the latest technology and enhance knowledge in Computer Networking.
  • Relevant Industry visits will be arranged to enhance the theory learned at the University.
  • UTB has Cisco Networking Academy and Huawei Authorized Information and Network Academy (Huawei ICT Academy).
  • Students will be using the Cisco lab and Huawei lab for practical work, which will help them prepare for the Cisco and Huawei certifications.
  • Students will be encouraged to do Computer Networking related professional certifications like Cisco CCT, CCNA, CCNP, Huawei HCIA – Routing and Switching, HCIP (IERS), HCIP (IENP) etc.
